Error codes
Every error code the API returns, what it means, and whether retrying can help.
Every error response carries a code from this list. Retry says whether sending the identical request again could succeed; it is the same value as retryable in the response body. The response envelope is described under Errors.
427 codes, 52 with a written explanation. The same catalog is served as JSON by GET /v1/errors and GET /v1/errors/{code}, which need no API key.

SIP_GATEWAY_DISABLED | No | SIP gateway access is a per-organization feature for numbers that sit behind the customer's own PBX or phone system, and it is off for this one.
